For heartier fare, the Costra de Rib Eye offers a succulent, perfectly seared steak enveloped in a flavorful crust, while the Pescado A la Sal features delicately baked fish encased in salt to preserve moisture and highlight its natural sweetness.

The culinary journey continues with refined options like the earthy Risotto de Espárragos and the indulgent Ravioles de Hongos, dishes that blend texture and comfort with a touch of sophistication. Don’t miss the Tacos de Lechón Confitado, melding tender pork with vibrant Mexican flavors in a way that’s both comforting and surprising. Complement these plates with house signature cocktails such as the refreshing Frosé Gin Boodles - a delightful mix of licor de cassis, rosé wine, and raspberry syrup - or the complex and exhilarating Sour Castelar, crafted with Bulleit bourbon, Galliano, grapefruit, and thyme syrup.

Fransisco made our second experience magnificent. Kid friendly environment! They accommodate the menu to kids and even picky eaters. I recommend this place to whoever comes to Mexico City, ask for Fransisco and you will not regret it.

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary on Thanksgiving night at Blanco Castelar during our weekend visit in CDMX. Our anniversary dinner went above and beyond our expectations from the lovely welcome cocktail at the lobby bar to the numerous complimentary gestures during our dinner from the restaurant wait staff. Special thanks to Antonio and Francisco for their kindness and for making this special night unforgettable. We will be back!

AMAZING service. I definitely recommend this place if you’re in town. I went here with a group of 15 people. They were very attentive and recommended delicious plates. Very clean place and beautiful decor. Their margaritas are a 10/10!!!

Very knowledgeable on gluten and potential adaptations. I’m celiac and felt really safe (plus, had no issues later on). Yes, the prices are kind high indeed, however the atmosphere is great and the food sublime. Therefore, it’s well positioned I would say.

Blanco Castelar never disappoints. The space is stunning, the service is polished, and the food is consistently top-notch. The highlight for me was the jamón Cinco Jotas—perfectly sliced, silky, and packed with flavor. Absolutely worth the visit if you’re in Mexico City.
